It’s here! And it’s full of gorgeous gowns, useful tips, beautiful real weddings, and – just in time for the new movie – a little Alice in Wonderland magic.

And if that title isn’t self-explanatory, I don’t know what is. 
Last week I got together with Eve of Splendid Affairs, Sam from Lashline, and two beautiful girls, Cat and Zindre, at the AMAZING Shepstone Gardens, and photographed the heck out of over a dozen gorgeous wedding dresses. I was in my element with all the different styles and hairdos, not to mention the seventeen million places you can photograph at Shepstone Gardens.
The magazine will be out in early February, but here’s a look at some of what went on behind the scenes:
Just a sneak peek of goodness to come. It was threatening rain the entire day, and in fact it did come down while the make-up was being done, but then it kindly let up for us to do our thing. This isn’t the first time that’s happened to me at Shepstone. There must be a kind of magic there.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of assisting Tanya Rudman at the wedding of Wanja and Dave at Shepstone Gardens. And what an incredible wedding it was! Here’s a little teaser:
