I love the Drakensberg. And I particularly loved the weather we had while we were there, because it combined two of my favourite things: pretty vistas and clouds. Oh boy, do I love clouds. I could have an affair with them. :-) Well, you’ll see.

These next two were taken the evening we arrived. The clouds were just beginning to break, and we had high hopes for good hiking weather the following day. The rainbow photo in my last past was also taken at this time.

Well, this was the next day. We couldn’t even SEE the mountains, let alone hike in them. I did get some lovely misty horse shots, though.

The next day it actually did lighten up, though. More to come – I’m trying not to make my posts too picture-heavy so that they can load for people with slow connections, like my parents. :-)
